Yes, we all know that 2020 has been a crazy year. So much has happened and so much has changed. The year did not go as we have planned but I’m sure you have learned a lot of lessons throughout the year, just like I did.

I have definitely learned how to get my priorities straight. I’ve learned how precious my family is and you would do anything in your power to protect them. I’ve learned how things can change in an instant and I’ve learned who I can rely on and who not – and with that I’ve learned what stress can do to people.

Being newly married 2020 has really been a great year for us. My husband and I was in lockdown together for 4 months and we just had each other. I really feel so blessed that we ended up in this situation together and I’m so grateful for all the time we had to spend together. Yes, I would definitely do it all over again – of course without the extra unwanted stress, but still I would do it again.

On the fitness front this has also been a wonderful year for me. I’ve really exercised very hard and learned to love exercise more and more. I’ve become more fit and are crazy about rebounding. This year I have seen how rebounding can help you combat stress and help you to relax and unwind.

With this blog I would like to inspire you to let 2021 be your best fitness and healthiest year ever! We don’t know what the new year will hold and I’m sure you are just as nervous as I am about what’s to come. Don’t let the uncertainty that you are feeling now hold you back from becoming the best version of yourself you can be.

It all starts with one small step in the right direction. Try to make one small change everyday and soon within a month you will have 30+ new healthy habits. Simple changes you can do is to use one less spoon of sugar in your tea or coffee. Switch your lunch toastie from white bread to brown, try not to eat carbs at dinner, drink an extra glass of water everyday, ditch that second glass of wine every night and try to walk around your neighborhood one block at a time.

It really is not that hard – we all had to start somewhere so you can do it too. If you don’t have time to walk around the block every day after work like most of us I would suggest that you try doing at least a Lisa Raleigh 5 minute rebounding class most days of the week. To see more of these beginner rebounding classes, please click here. You will be surprised to know just how much 5 minutes of rebounding can change your life for the better.

Let’s all try to be a bit more positive in 2021. With so much going on in the world I know it’s not always easy but let’s give us all a break and try not to be so hard on ourselves.

Here’s to a happy and healthy 2021!

Nadine
